We ALL know the ugly truth—that friend who made a resolution to run three miles every morning for the next 365 days totally isn’t going to do it. The sad fact about resolutions is that they’re way too much too fast and people are going to fall completely off the wagon by mid-January. Starting small and slowly building up your fitness is the way to do it, and you can start at any time of year! In fact, you can board the fitness train right from the comfort of your home with a living room workout (AND without switching off the TV)! Who needs a gross, fluorescent-lit commercial gym when you’ve got a couch and a commercial break to work with?
To do this living room workout, pick two exercises from this list. Do each one for the length of one commercial, then switch to the other. Alternate between the two for the length of the commercial break. If you're streaming, do the same thing, but alternate every minute between ads or episodes.
